Chief Amu of ACAS has been involved in many professional and community arts projects and classes, often working with local artists, dance, drama groups and musicians. He travels widely throughout Scotland and beyond, offering practice-based creative workshops in schools, youth centres and community settings.

Chief Amu’s work in formal education settings is designed to enable inclusive creative participation, engaging with cross-curriculum creative learning, from primary to higher education.

Chief Amu is offering African drumming workshop as skilled and experienced educator, able disseminates copiouslya structured positive learning experience to participants through the positive influence of Effective Creative Drumming for the common good.

During a typical day-long workshop, Primary or Secondary Workshops for Schools, we could start the day withour School and the community introduction drum talk and practical catching the rhythms and beats assembly for all during which Chief Amu the drummer navigatorcould demonstrate and motivate the participants for the day ahead. We can work with up to 35 children in a suitable space per agreed sessional space at a time and deliver 6 sessions for the day.
